What an amazing experience at one of NYC’s best Chinese food restaurants in the heart of Chinatown! The wait staff and hostess were very kind and helpful when looking at the vast array of food on the menu. We were left having to take suggestions on what would be the best to eat since there was so much to choose from! If you go, you HAVE to have the soup dumplings! Just amazing! The food was fresh and came out in a timely manner and the complimentary Jasmine tea was very delightful! I will definitely revisit this restaurant when we come back to NYC!

A little beat off the beaten path but that makes the place great. There is no wait and you can get seated and served before you even get into a popular place like Joe's Shanghai. The crispy duck and orange beef were delicious. The soup dumplings were great, it might be mental but I still prefer Joe's Shanghai's soup dumplings. Honestly, if a place like Joe's has more than a 10 minute wait, I'd would just walk over to 21 Shanghai.

The customer service was nice but a bit weird. They brought my brother’s dishes a lot earlier than mine so I had to eat alone. Soup dumplings were great!
